St. Andrew's Junior is Distinguished Young Woman of Madison County

Three St. Andrew's students competed for scholarships on January 13 at Distinguished Young Women of Madison County 2025. Junior Vahita Anand was named 2025 Distinguished Young Woman of Madison County. She also won the Scholastic Award, Talent Award, and the Self-Expression Award. Claudia Maron won Spirit of DYW Award and was named 1st Alternate, and Pegah Vasighi-Ansarifar won the BYBS (Be Your Best Self) Award. Distinguished Young Women of Madison County is "part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholastics, leadership, and talent in young women. Participants are evaluated in the areas of scholastics, interview, talent, self-expression, and fitness."
